Eikos Innovates

Risk finance originated in the traditional insurance industry. From ancient times (marine insurance being the oldest form of insurance) and until fairly recently, insurance was the only form of risk financing. It was through the innovations of the risk financiers of the 1970's and 1980's that risk was seen as something that could be used to advantage. This transformed the insurance discipline. Eikos is now developing and redefining risk financing mechanisms within the marine insurance/ liability/ Credit Insurance environment. For the last 15 years, the individual members of Eikos have been innovators in marine and transit risk financing within the transportation / supply chain sector. 

The Eikos transportation team, with its acute sense of history and specialist knowledge, and aligned with other Eikos competencies, is designing and implementing products and facilities that will both rationalise and add to hundreds of years of tradition.
